2024 RAS Professional Baking Competition

2024 Royal Adelaide Show Professional Baking Competition

Judging for the 2024 RAS Professional Baking Competition (Royal Australian Show) took place at the Horticultural Stage, Goyder Pavilion, Adelaide Showgrounds on Tuesday 3 September 2024 from 10 am. With more than 150 entries the judges had a very busy day.

This year’s feature product was the traditional croissant, with its crisp flaky laminated pastry and butter flavour and aroma. Judges were looking at the general appearance, baked colour, and pastry quality with a particular interest in the way it has been prepared and the flavour.
