The Fair Work Commission has handed down its decision increasing Award rates by 2.5%.

Following on from the decision in 2020, they have delayed some Awards due to the effect of the Coronavirus Pandemic on our economy. For this reason, whilst some of our Awards will increase from July, others will increase later in the year.

The Awards and the date of their increase are as follows:
✅ From first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2021:
Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Industry Award 2020
Clerks - Private Sector Award 2020
Fast Food Industry Award 2020

✅ From the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 September 2021
General Retail Industry Award 2020

✅ From the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 November 2021
Restaurant Industry Award 2020

If you are covered by an Award not specifically mentioned above, please contact our IR Hotline on 1300 557 022 or email ir@nbia.org.au for information regarding your specific Award. Revised Schedules will be forwarded to members in the weeks prior to each increase.
