The 2023 minimum wage increase of the Fair Work Commission was handed down on Friday 2 June 2023 at 10 am. Whilst the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) has been seeking a 7% increase, the Employer Associations have sought a maximum of 3.8%. We are anticipating an increase in the vicinity of 3.8% to 4.5%, but this is a guess only.
